Medium and freezing rain, snow may occur in Jammu and Kashmir until March 24

Jammu Kashmir: A moderate rainstorm hit the plains during a snowstorm in the mountains of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday as the Department of Weather (MET) predicts heavy rain / snow in scattered areas over the next two days.
"Please stay alert and pay attention to thunderstorms / lightning (Do not sit under trees, metal poles etc.), avalanches, groundwater infiltration, floods / mudslides," said Sonam Lotus, director of MET.
"Scattered rain / snow will likely continue until March 24. Heavy rains / snow may occur in union dispersal areas."
Srinagar had 7.4, Pahalgam 4.3 and Gulmarg removed 0.5 degrees Celsius as the lowest temperature of the day.
The city of Leh Ladakh had 1.5 degrees, Kargil 1.6 and Drass 0.1 as the lowest temperature at night.
Jammu town had 16.2, Katra 14.6, Batote 8.4, Banihal 8.6 and Baderwah 7.5 as low temperatures.
