Transaction Successful But Not Inwarded RTO
What Does It Mean When Your RTO Application Shows "Submitted and Fee Paid – Under Processing"?
If you're tracking your vehicle-related application (such as ownership transfer, hypothecation removal, or registration update) and see a status that says "Application has been submitted and the fee has been paid", followed by "Under Processing by the RTO", here's what it actually means:
✅ Application Submitted Successfully
This indicates that you’ve filled out your application online or through a CSC center, uploaded the required documents, and paid the applicable government fees.
💳 Fee Paid
The payment has been successfully received by the RTO, which means your file has officially entered the system for processing.
🕵️♂️ RTO Processing Stage
At this point, the Regional Transport Office (RTO) has received your application and documents. They will now verify everything, which may include:
-
Physical inspection of the vehicle (if required)
-
Cross-checking documents for accuracy
-
Approving or raising objections if any discrepancies are found
⏳ What’s Next?
Once the verification is complete and everything is found in order, your application will be approved and the updated documents (like RC, NOC, or fitness certificate) will be issued either online or by post, depending on your state’s process.
🔔 Pro Tip: You can keep checking your application status on Parivahan Sewa Portal or visit your RTO office if it's pending for a long time.
