Delhi HC issues summon to Bear Grylls in ‘copyright infringement’ case
Delhi High Court has issued summon to British adventurer Bear Grylls on a copyright infringement suit by an Indian writer and producer named Arrmann Shharma, the Live Law reported.

Shharma claims that the reality series ‘Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls’ was his original idea.

Justice Amit Bansal has also issued summons to Warner Brothers Discovery, National Geography and Disney+Hotstar.

Shharma has come to court arguing he conceptualized the show in 2009 and titled it ‘Aakhri Dum Takk’ (Till the Last Breath’).

He pitched it to Discovery but the channel said that the script did not meet its current programming and inventory needs.

He claims, that he came to about the show (running since 2013) only in 2022 when it came on Hotstar.
