IPS Sweety Sahrawat Latest Controversy

IPS Sweety Sahrawat is making headlines these days after a video of her talking to former Kerala Governor and retired IPS officer Nikhil Kumar went viral.

Kumar, a native of Aurangabad district, had gone to Sahrawat’s residence to discuss the rising cases of theft in the city. When he reached her residence, the security personnel informed him that she was busy with her daily routine work and asked him to wait. Kumar insisted on meeting her right away, but Sahrawat refused and told him to meet her at her office.

Kumar was not happy with Sahrawat’s response and started shouting at her. He claimed that as an IPS officer, she had a duty to meet people at all times. Sahrawat, however, remained calm and stood her ground. She told Kumar that she had the right to have a personal space and that he could meet her at her office like everyone else.

The video of the incident has gone viral and has divided social media users. Some people have supported Sahrawat, saying that she was right to stand her ground and that Kumar was wrong to shout at her. Others have said that as a public servant, Sahrawat should be more accommodating and meet people even at their homes.
