Lok Sabha Passed Bill for 33% reservation to women in J&K Assembly; 30 Women MLAs in J&K
New Delhi, Dec 12: Lok Sabha today passed a bill granted 33 percent reservation to women in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.
The Law is expected to come into force during 2029 as it will take due course of time for implementation.
The Bill will ensure 30 Women MLAs in Jammu and Kashmir in the house of 90.
