IAS Mandeep Kaur appointed as Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir
SRINAGAR: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has appointed the 2004 Batch IAS officer Mandeep Kaur as the Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir.
Mandeep Kaur is a Senior IAS officer who will now overtake the charge of Div. Com Kashmir as The Election Commission of India recently approved the appointment of previous Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P K Pole as Chief Electoral Officer of Jammu and Kashmir.
Mandeep Kaur is a Domicile of Uttar Pradesh and was given the cadre of erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir which later on was turned into the UT post Abrogation of Article 370 by the government of India.
PK Pole was appointed as the Div. Com Kashmir on 18 March, 2022 and now he will be holding the position of Chief Electoral Officer of J&K UT.
