Mega event of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra held at Samba
SAMBA: The second day of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the government's ambitious initiative to reach out to the beneficiaries of different flagship schemes, was successfully conducted in the district of Samba today.
The main function was held at the border panchayat of Pangdour, where all the district officers were present. The program commenced with the Sankalp pledge, followed by cultural dance performances by students and the Meri Kahani Meri Zubani initiative, wherein beneficiaries of the schemes shared their stories and expressed gratitude towards the government for providing them with various benefits.
The IEC van, which carries the message of the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, also visited the villages of Glard, Raina Labana, Chang and Bari Brahmana municipality. The locals of these areas warmly welcomed the van and appreciated the arrival of the government's outreach initiative. They also interacted with the officials and got to know more about the schemes and policies that are aimed at improving their lives and livelihoods.
