Sarore Toll Plaza Closed in Jammu and Kashmir
SRINAGAR: The toll plaza at Thandikhui in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district has been closed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), providing significant relief to commuters traveling between Jammu, Samba, and Kathua.
“The influence length of Lakhanpur and Ban fee plazas have been increased to eliminate the requirement of Thandikhui fee plaza,” stated Y P S Jadon, NHAI Project Director, PIU, in the official order.
As of 8 am on January 26, toll collection at Thandikhui ceases, while toll adjustments have been made at Ban and Lakhanpur toll plazas.
”This decision is a strategic move by NHAI to address the concerns surrounding the Sarore Toll Plaza and enhance the travel experience for commuters between Jammu, Samba, and Kathua,” the order stated.
