Jammu: A girl from Janipur area of Jammu city yesterday night was apprehended by police for carrying drugs in her suitcase to Chandigarh.
According to the report, acting on tip-off, a team of Gandhi Nagar police station searched a Chandigarh bound Sleeper bus bearing registration number UP17808711 at Chugh Petrol Pump in Gandhi Nagar. During the search, the cops searched a blue suitcase of a girl passenger and found drugs a girl, she is working as a Nursing student in Chandigarh.
Further questioning is still going on of the supplier girl.
A case was registered under relevant sections of the NDPS act at Gandhi Nagar police station and a probe is on.
