JKSSB postpones written exam for Home Department Lab Attendant post
Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) on Sunday postponed the OMR-based written examination for the post of Laboratory Attendant in the Home Department, which was scheduled to be held today.
According to an official notification accessed news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) issued by the Controller of Examinations, the examination was advertised under Notification No. 06 of 2025 dated July 22, 2025.
"A fresh date for the said examination shall be notified separately," the notification stated, adding that all concerned candidates are hereby informed about the postponement.
The decision affects candidates who were set to appear for the examination today. The board has not cited any specific reason for the postponement in the brief order issued by Reyaz Ahmed Malik (JKAS), Controller of Examinations, JKSSB. (KNS)
