Shri Sadguru Kabir Sabha Reasi Celebrated 628th Kabir Jayanti with Great Devotion and Enthusiasm

The auspicious occasion of Kabir Jayanti was celebrated with immense devotion, spiritual fervour, and social harmony at Shri Satguru Kabir Mandir, Reasi, under the banner of Shri Sadguru Kabir Sabha Reasi. The grand celebration witnessed the participation of devotees, members of the Bhagat community, public representatives, district administration officials, students, and people from different walks of life.
The programme began with Satguru Kabir Sahib's Satsang, where devotees gathered to remember and spread the timeless teachings of truth, equality, humanity, and brotherhood given by Sant Kabir Das Ji. The spiritual atmosphere filled the temple premises with devotion and positivity.
One of the major attractions of the celebration was the beautifully presented Jhanki (Tableau) depicting the life and teachings of Satguru Kabir Sahib. Children from the community enthusiastically participated in cultural performances and delivered inspiring speeches highlighting the life, philosophy, and social reforms of Satguru Kabir Sahib. Their confidence and dedication received huge appreciation from the audience.
A special felicitation ceremony was also organised during the event. Meritorious students of the Bhagat community who secured excellent marks in Class 10th, 11th, and 12th examinations were honoured with mementos for their outstanding academic achievements. The initiative aimed to encourage young students towards excellence in education.
The programme was graced by several distinguished dignitaries. The Chief Guest, Hon'ble MLA Reasi Shri Kuldeep Raj Dubey, addressed the gathering and appreciated the efforts of Shri Satguru Kabir Sabha Reasi in preserving the spiritual and cultural heritage of Satguru Kabir Sahib.
The celebration was also attended by former MLA Shri Jugal Kishore Sharma, along with senior officers from the district administration, including officials from the ADDC , ADC, Tehsildar Reasi, Additional SSP, DySP and other Reasi administrators.
The celebration witnessed overwhelming participation from devotees and members of the Bhagat community who travelled from different parts of District Reasi, including Reasi town, Katra, Pouni, Panthal, Ser, Pounsli, Bhagtha, and several other rural villages. Their enthusiastic presence reflected the deep faith and respect for the teachings of Satguru Kabir Sahib. The presence of distinguished personalities from the Bhagat community further added prestige to the event. Among the prominent attendees were Sh. O.P. Bhagat Ji, Director, J&K Forensic Department; Retired Chief Engineer Sh. Bodh Raj Bhagat Ji; President of Shri Satguru Kabir Sabha Reasi, Sh. Pawan Kumar Bhagat Ji; Sh. Ram Paul Bhagat Ji, BDO Pouni; and the former Presidents and Chairman of Shri Satguru Kabir Sabha Reasi, whose continued guidance and dedication have played a significant role in strengthening the Sabha and preserving the teachings of Satguru Kabir Sahib. Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries inspired the younger generation to follow the ideals of truth, equality, compassion, and selfless service preached by Satguru Kabir Sahib while contributing positively to society and the nation.
The programme also witnessed the participation of several political leaders, social workers, community representatives, and members of the Bhagat Samaj from different parts of District Reasi, making it one of the largest Kabir Jayanti celebrations in the region.
The celebration concluded with a Community Bhandara (Langar), where devotees and visitors shared meals together, reflecting the values of equality, unity, and selfless service taught by Satguru Kabir Sahib.
The successful organisation of this grand event once again demonstrated the dedication of Shri Sadguru Kabir Sabha Reasi towards preserving the teachings of Satguru Kabir Sahib and inspiring future generations through spirituality, education, and social harmony.
