Reasi MLA, Bar Association President Meet LG Manoj Sinha; Key Judicial and Development Issues Raised
Jammu Kuldeep Raj Dubey, Member of the Legislative Assembly from Reasi, called on Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today. He was accompanied by Advocate Pawan Dev Singh, President of the District Bar Association Reasi, and senior BJP leader Ch. Mohammad Akram.During the meeting, Advocate Pawan Dev Singh submitted a detailed memorandum highlighting the pressing issues concerning the legal fraternity, including the construction of a new District Court Complex in Reasi, the creation of the post of Additional District Judge, and the proper functioning of the District Consumer Forum Reasi. It was highlighted that the existing court building has been in use since 1947, when only one court existed, but with the passage of time, the number of courts and lawyers has increased significantly, leading to severe congestion and space constraints. The Lieutenant Governor assured that the construction of a new court complex will be taken up on priority along with other issues raised in the memorandum.At the same time, MLA Kuldeep Raj Dubey raised several key development and public welfare issues of Reasi constituency, seeking prompt administrative action. Ch. Mohammad Akram also discussed major concerns related to Gulabgarh Assembly, including civic amenities, connectivity, and local development projects.
