The posts include Veterinary Pharmacist under the Animal Husbandry Department and Assistant Compiler under the J&K Funds Organisation. Eligibility Criteria for JKSSB Recruitment 2026
1. Veterinary Pharmacist (Item No. 22-42)
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. from a recognized university having Zoology as one of the subjects.
Domicile: Must be a Domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir with a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority on or before the cut-off date i.e. 19th May 2026.
2. Assistant Compiler (Item No. 43-44)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized Board.
Domicile: Must be a Domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir with a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority on or before the cut-off date.

Selection Process for JKSSB Recruitment 2026
The selection for both posts shall be made on the basis of merit obtained in the Written/OMR Examination only. There is no interview stage. The selection process consists of:
Stage 1 – Written/OMR Examination The examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) set in English Language only. There will be Negative Marking – one-fourth of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Stage 2 – Document Verification (DV) Candidates shortlisted on the basis of merit in the written examination will be called for Document Verification. Candidates must appear with all original certificates and self-attested photocopies. Failure to appear for DV or failure to produce required documents on the scheduled date will result in rejection of candidature.
